Boy, does this quote tell the truth or what??? So many of our roadblocks are based in simply believing we already have the skills that are necessary to be a success and do not have to learn and practice new skills to take ourselves to higher levels of proficiency. What would the benefit be of truly practicing your soft-sell scripts for the next 30 days? What if you truly did work in front of a mirror every morning for 10 minutes for the next thirty days to practice smiling, nodding, and asking questions as you notice your eye contact, smiling face, and positive expressions?
We are often guilty in life of knowing WHAT to do, but simply not doing what we know to do! Professional salespeople who learn the skills of successful selling and then practice those skills will have a tremendously different outcome than those who listen to a seminar, then go home and do what they have always done.
As the old saying goes...If you want something different than you've always had, you have to do something different than you've always done.....
